International Open Laboratory Symposium 2018

The International Open Laboratory (IOL) Symposium 2018 was held on June 15, 2018 at the National Institute of Radiological Sciences, National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology (NIRS-QST) in Chiba, Japan. Being in its final year, the individual IOL projects, called research 'cores', presented their activities from the past 3 years of the project. In particular, the detector developments toward Whole Gamma Imaging, being the topic of collaboration between the NIRS-QST group of Dr. Taiga Yamaya and the LMU Department of Medical Physics in the framework of the IOL were presented by Prof. Katia Parodi.
