DPG Dissertation Prize for Dr. Lars von der Wense

We congratulate Dr. Lars von der Wense, who received the Dissertation Prize of the German Physical Society (Sektion Matter and Cosmos) for 2018. The prize, consisting of a prize money of 1500.- EUR and a travel grant to the DPG spring meeting in Würzburg, was awarded on the occasion of the 2018 Spring Meeting of the German Physical Society in Würzburg.
Lars received the prize for his dissertation and the talk presented on „Milestone toward a nuclear clock: On the direct detection of 229mTh.”
