The program of the workshop can be downloaded from here.

The workshop will start in the evening of Thursday, May 19 at 19:00 with a Welcome Dinner. The dinner takes place in the center of Garching at the "Gasthaus Neuwirt", directly near the subway station of the line U6.

Here you can find information on the dinner venue, including its location.

How to reach Garching:

from the airport you can catch the S-Bahn S8 until Ismaning (ca 13 min) and then bus 230 until Garching (ca. 12 min), you can check connection times via http://www.mvv-muenchen.de/ departure "Flughafen München"arrival "Garching"). For ticket you can take a daily ticket Airport-City-Day-Ticket (12.40 Euro) which you could use also to go later downtown and come back (if you want, before the dinner) or with cheaper single-way ticket for 2 zones (5.40 Euro), as the dinner will be close to the hotel.

Alternatively you can take the taxi, it is a bit faster but will cost around 40-50 Euro.

Orientation on the Workshop venue Friday, May 20: Lecture Hall of the LMU building on the Garching Campus, Am Coulombwall 1. You find the building on the campus map here

You can reach the campus:

i) from the center of Munich (or the center of Garching) by subway (line U6) until the end station "Garching Forschungszentrum"

ii) from Munich airport by S-Bahn (line S1 to "Neufahrn") and then by bus (line 690).

When you plan to participate in the Workshop as indicated  below, please download the registration form (from here) and send it back to the contact address (Andrea.Leinthaler@physik.uni-muenchen.de) latest by May, 2.
