The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) awarded the John S. Laughlin Young Scientist Award to Prof. Katia Parodi.The award is named afte
r the late John Laughlin and honors his many efforts at encouraging the development of young scientists in medical physics research. The award is presented annually to a member of the AAPM who has shown outstanding scientific achievement in the early years of their career.
The award was presented at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine in Anaheim, California on July 13, 2015.
