MediNet is an EU-funded Networking Activity within the Horizon2020 Integrating Initiative "ENSAR-2", resting on 2 pillars:

Task 1: Research on Detector Instrumentation for Radiation Therapy (coordinator: P. Thirolf/LMU)

Task 2: Nuclear Tools for Ion Beam Therapy (coordinator: G. Magrin, MedAustron, Austria)

The project started on March 1st, the Kickoff-Meeting will be held on May 18/19, hosted by LMU Munich in Garching.

Here you can download the program of the meeting.

Here you find a map of the Garching campus, indicating the location of the meeting venue:

LMU Building, Am Coulombwall 1, 85748 Garching, Germany

Lecture Hall (ground floor west)

You can reach the campus:
i) from the center of Munich by subway (line U6) until end station "Garching Forschungszentrum"
ii) from Munich airport by S-Bahn (line S1 to "Neufahrn") and then by bus (line 690).

The Kickoff Meeting will by directly followed by an International Workshop on "In-Vivo Dose Monitoring", hosted at the same venue.
