The Chair of Medical Physics, Faculty of Physics of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), is dedicated to advancing research and teaching in medical physics, with a particular focus on developments in preclinical and clinical radiotherapy. This includes the development, characterisation and production of high-performance particle and radiation detectors for applications in particle beam cancer therapy. A range of modern laboratories is available for this work, including a cleanroom for detector production.
We are looking for a State-Certified Technician (m/f/d) (50% TVL E8, fixed-term until 30.09.2027) or a experimentally skilled person with comparable skills,
for independently managing the cleanroom and laboratory infrastructure, assisting with the production of particle and radiation detectors, and independently carrying out laboratory work.
